University Overview

Georgia University was founded in 2004 under the name “Georgia University of Social Sciences.” Initially, it offered only undergraduate programs. However, between 2005 and 2007, the university experienced significant development and added master’s programs to its offerings. In 2007, the university admitted doctoral students for the first time. In 2010, the university’s infrastructure was further developed.

Georgia University comprises several colleges and schools that offer a wide range of academic disciplines. These include the College of Law, the College of Economics and Political Science, the College of Medical Sciences, the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, the College of Natural and Exact Sciences, the College of Engineering and Technology, the College of Fine Arts and Design, and other colleges and schools.

The university offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs and supports an innovative learning environment and scientific research. It is equipped with modern facilities and advanced amenities, including libraries, laboratories, and research centers. As a result, Georgia University is considered one of the leading institutions of higher education in Georgia and plays a significant role in the development of knowledge, scientific progress, and cultural advancement. The university accommodates over 6,000 local and international students from various countries worldwide.

University Accreditation

Georgia University collaborates with various leading European and American universities and offers student exchange programs in various European universities for one semester or a full academic year. The university also has exchange programs within the Erasmus Plus international accreditation cooperation.
