University Overview
The East-West University was recently established in Tbilisi, Georgia. This university serves as an example of regional cooperation in the field of education in the South Caucasus. It was founded through a joint decision by the founder, Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Khazar University, and the former Vice President of Tbilisi State University, Professor Tamuraz Khorodze. The main objective of launching the East-West University was to establish communication channels among colleges in Turkey, Karkasos Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia, and to enhance the importance of higher education accordingly. The primary language of instruction at this university is English.
Given that one of the university’s founders is a major contributor to specialized clinics in Tbilisi, it was decided to prioritize the implementation of medical programs. Having hospitals within the university structure allows for the training of highly competent specialized doctors. These comprehensive efforts have facilitated the establishment of a university that will be one of the leading institutions in the region, with its physical infrastructure, competent academic staff, and modern educational programs.
